LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale, FL
STORY: While so much of my portfolio is vibrant & energetic, sometimes what we need on our walls is a simple & relaxing piece, showing us the quiet beauty that lies within water. For my ultimate relaxation, I enjoy going out onto my backyard beach when the sea is flat calm. Alone, I float on my back, and try to remain completely motionless for as long as I can. It’s therapeutic and meditative. I’ll dip my head back into the water, and from just under the surface, I look up into the sun. This is what I see, and that’s what I wanted to capture here.
